Spread the Word: Inclusion Last Wednesday we ran a shortened schedule to allow for our celebration of inclusion in honor of Spread the Word: Inclusion. We watched films that focus on inclusion in the morning and then continued with an altered schedule for the rest of the school day. On Thursday during lunch, we invited students to sign a poster showing their support for and commitment to including everyone in our school community. This is just one example of how we promote belonging at GMS.

GMS Band Concert On February 29th the GMS Band had their Winter Concert. Congratulations to all of the students, Mr. Thurston, and Ms. Cummings for an excellent show!March 5th at 6pm will be the MSAD51 Chorus Concert at the GHS Gym.

GMS Glow Dance GMS 7th and 8th Grade students and staff enjoyed a night out at the Glow Dance on February 9, hosted by GMS Student Council.
