Congrats to the GMS athletes who competed in the Cumberland County Special Olympics Swim Meet on April 10 in Cape Elizabeth. Congrats Elle, Beau, Royce, Ayla, Isaiah, and Avery. They took home 3 first place, 2 second place, and 4 third place!

Wednesday, April 10, 6:00-7:00 pm. Please join the GMS 6-8 administration and members of the 6th grade faculty to learn about all things middle school. GMS 6-8 is structured differently than GMS 4-5. Come find out what a day in the life of a middle schooler looks like and how we support students during this stage of their development.

At the April 1 Board meeting, state Reps. Annie Graham and Steve Moriarty present legislative sentiments to the Indoor Track team (above) & Nordic Ski team (below) for state championship wins during the winter athletic season.

Due to the change in schedule for the solar eclipse, Monday, April 8 will now be an early release day for this reason. As a result, the scheduled early release on Wednesday, April 3 has been rescheduled as a full day of school.

On March 14, the IB Diploma Students and the Community Services Club hosted an Oxfam Hunger Banquet.

Congratulations to Elliot Alfred, GHS student, who received a Gold Key Scholastic Award for his comic. His work will be displayed in the capital complex through May as his work also received an 'Excellence in Arts Education' award through the Maine Arts Commission.
