Under the Sea! A very big thank you to all the adults who helped make the Friday night STUCO dance something special for 7th and 8th grade students. Do any GMS students actually dance?
Working Together
HELP! Arrive by 7:40. Morning drop off is occurring a little too late for about 100 students. Class starts at 7:50 a.m., and with over 500 students navigating the hallways each morning, they can’t make it to class on time. Parents and guardians can help us reduce the number of students who are tardy by simply dropping off by 7:40 a.m. Students who are early can enjoy a bit of outdoor recess time. Students who plan for breakfast should arrive close to 7:30. We’ll be encouraging all students to make it to class on time throughout the day. But with your help, we can have more students enjoying a great day by arriving before the bell. Questions? Please reach out to me at [email protected]
7th Grade Families, if you missed the previous deadline for The Ecology School overnight trip, there’s still an opportunity to register and pay. Info here.

On the Run

Day of WELCOME!
Watch for the “Day of Welcome” this Wednesday. Also this week….If you have a 6th grader, brush up on your knowledge of latitude and longitude before your student quizzes you. Have a 7th grader? Be ready to review the geography of Africa. 8th grade? Ask them about their favorite class and why they enjoy it. It amazes me what they are learning!
