75?  75% of tardies this week were excused, which means the office received a call, email or note. Thank you for communicating when there’s a change in your student’s attendance. Most students with great attendance experience less anxiety, feel more confident regarding classwork, acquire less homework, have better grades, are more connected to peers, are happier, and learn more! 

In the Classroom

Bourekas, Chocolate Cake, and more…

7th-grade students recently completed a project which involved researching a food item that is culturally important in Judaism. Students were asked to create a one-minute slideshow presentation and either make or purchase their food item to share with the other seventh grade team. Osprey and Katahdin students worked really hard to learn about the history of their chosen foods and many challenging recipes were shared.  Presentations were impressive!

Hey Parents, this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, October 8 and 9, is a chance for our students to show their academic growth from the previous year.  
The B.E.S.T. approach to Maine Through Year Testing?

Next week, each day is a full day, Monday - Thursday.  No school on Friday.  Enjoy this beautiful weekend,
